The Lord’s Passover begins at sundown on the fourteenth day of the first month.”  (Leviticus 23:5)

The Jewish Passover commemorates the miracle night when Almighty God brought Israel out, to take them in! The land of promise then is the same land appointed to Israel’s possession today—both the land and people of Israel are irreversibly the apple of God’s eye.

Especially during Passover season, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We also pray for safety for those in Israel as they commemorate this historic event when God brought the Hebrew nation out of Egypt, a type of the world, and into the Promised Land, a type of God’s Kingdom.

The spiritual roots of Christianity are in Israel and we share from our hearts in this joyful time, especially since the Passover season coincides with our Resurrection season—our joyful, thankful celebration of the resurrection of our Lord, the Lamb of God who still today takes away the sin of the world. Those who embrace His lordship celebrate crossing from darkness into Light, from spiritual oppression to true spiritual freedom and eternal life!

Like Israel, you have a new day and a new beginning. Breakthrough. Press forward. Sanctify the Lord in your heart. Always set the Lord before you. Choose to be set apart with Him!

His mercy brings you out… to take you in.

Amen.
